Sanco Inn Kyoto Hachijoguchi Shikinoyu was a delightful discovery for my recent trip, perfectly situated just steps away from Kyoto Station. The air-conditioned room was a sanctuary with heated floors-an absolute luxury after a day of exploring. I truly appreciated the thoughtful amenities, including a diverse pillow menu that catered to my quirky preferences. The small onsen on the ground floor, far from crowded, was the perfect way to unwind after my culinary adventures throughout the city. Breakfast on the second floor was a great treat, presented beautifully with all hygiene practices in place; it's a must-try for fellow foodies-at just 1600¥! With polite staff who readily spoke English, this hotel exudes a special character that I can't wait to experience again on my return trip in June.
